Having more than two decades of experience, Dave has extensive expertise in retirement and wealth planning, as well as tax-reduction strategies.
Dave first builds trust with his clients and then moves forward with the proper implementation of the outlined strategies, ensuring he’s building long-lasting and successful relationships. Genuine, caring and committed, Dave always puts the needs of his clients first, because it’s the right way to do business. He truly loves the people he works with, and most have become more than just clients—they’ve become family.
Helping his “family” feel confident in their futures is what drives Dave. He has the skills and compassion to guide them in all aspects of financial planning and has strategic partnerships to keep a competitive edge.
Dave understands everyone’s situation is unique, so getting to know the client is essential. He never assumes anything before learning who they are and what they hope to achieve. Having this knowledge leads him to the strategies that best work for each individual.
To best serve his clients, Dave is licensed in life and annuities, holds his Series 65 securities license, graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s in business. Dave served six years in the Army working as a communications specialist.
Outside of the office, Dave enjoys riding his Harley with friends, playing golf and riding bikes. He is a member of the Calvary Community Church and enjoys serving as an usher and participating in multiple church activities. You can also find him spending time with friends and family, reading and working on self-improvement.
Shawn Ahl, CPA
Shawn Ahl, CPA, is committed to always putting the clients’ needs first. Using her expertise in retirement income planning, Shawn takes pride in having the ability to help clients enter the next stage of their lives with confidence. She learned early on being a good listener is beneficial, and she’s also compassionate and energetic about her work.
Focusing on keeping her clients informed is a main component for how Shawn operates. Being informed allows each individual to take a major role in the decision-making process and truly feel good about the choices they’ve made.
Shawn enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal level and building lifelong relationships. Her drive comes from always wanting to learn more about the industry, so she is better equipped to bring the best ideas and strategies to her clients. Shawn is licensed for life and annuities, is a CPA and a graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Outside of work, you can find Shawn outdoors biking, hiking and golfing or inside enjoying a good book or great music.
